Note to the press: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Chris Jeter (R-Fishers) in your coverage of the groundbreaking of the McCord Square Downtown District, a $50 million, 48-acre, mixed-use quality of place investment funded by the Indiana Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative on Monday in McCordsville. During the 2021 legislative session, Jeter supported legislation making a record investment in READI to encourage communities to partner and create a plan for the future.

STATEHOUSE (Oct. 26, 2022) – "McCordsville continues to grow at one of the fastest rates in the state, and this investment will help keep the momentum going. Thanks to the READI grant, this residential and commercial project will attract more Hoosiers and businesses to our community while boosting our quality of life. I'm looking forward to watching this project progress and reach the finish line, and to seeing the positive impact it has on Hancock County."
