Prescott responds to reports of injuries, severe damage from Thursday's storms

Note to the Press – State Rep. J.D. Prescott (R-Union City) issued the following statement in response to the reported injuries and damage caused by severe storms in Randolph and Delaware counties. Prescott said the Indiana State Police are asking residents to avoid traveling in the area due to heavy storm damage. Temporary shelters have been established at Winchester Community High School and Willard Elementary School.

STATEHOUSE (March 15, 2024) – 
"I'm saddened to hear the reports of injuries and damage in our community from the severe storm last night. I'm praying for the individuals who were hurt, and those whose homes and businesses are damaged. My sincere thanks go out to the men and women on the front lines who are helping with this situation, from our local first responders to Indiana's Task Force 1 and the Indiana State Police. I'll continue to monitor the situation and help share updates on resources as they become available."
