Note to the press: Please include the following statement from Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) in your coverage of the April revenue forecast announced today. The new forecast increases Indiana's revenue projections by $1.5 billion over the next 3 years, which is a 2.4% increase over the December 2022 forecast.

STATEHOUSE (April 19, 2023) – "Our strong fiscal forecast is a direct result of Indiana's conservative leadership continuing to make fiscal responsibility a top priority. As the session clock winds down, I look forward to working with our Senate colleagues and the governor to finalize the state's next two-year state budget, and I'm confident we'll once again deliver results for taxpayers. House Republicans will continue to push for responsible tax cuts, increased educational opportunities for Hoosier families and strategic, one-time investments that boost economic development."
