Heaton supports special session to provide inflation relief to Hoosiers

Note to the Press – State Rep. Bob Heaton (R-Terre Haute), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, provided the following statement today after Gov. Eric Holcomb announced his plan to call state lawmakers back to the Statehouse for a special session to provide inflation relief to Hoosier taxpayers:

STATEHOUSE (June 9, 2022) – “While we've long prioritized keeping taxes low, Hoosiers' pocketbooks continue to get hit by soaring costs caused by the failed leadership in Washington, D.C. Now is the time for additional tax relief as we work our way out of this inflationary pressure."
