STATEHOUSE (April 12, 2018) — Norris Insurance on Wednesday at the Statehouse received the Governor’s Half Century Business Award for its contributions to the community, according to State Rep. Dave Wolkins (R-Warsaw).
Wolkins said Norris Insurance provides auto, home, farm, business, life and health protection through each of its 15 north central Indiana locations.
“In true entrepreneurial spirit, John Norris started and expanded his business throughout Indiana over the past 59 years,” Wolkins said. “I’d like to congratulate him and his son, Chris, for this achievement. Remaining in business for more than 50 years is impressive, and our community is fortunate to have such a business.”
The Governor’s Century and Half Century Awards honor Hoosier businesses that have remained in operation for a minimum of 100 or 50 consecutive years and have demonstrated a commitment to community service. Visit www.iedc.in.gov to learn more.
