STATEHOUSE (Nov. 30, 2018) – State Rep. Tim Wesco (R-Osceola) was recently appointed to serve as chair of the House Elections and Apportionment Committee.

“Elections are an essential part of our democracy, and I am excited to continue serving my constituents and Hoosiers all across the state as the chair of the House Elections and Apportionment Committee,” Wesco said. “This committee works to safeguard the integrity of our election systems and ensure fair elections. As chair, I will continue to improve upon our already strong and secure election systems.”

Wesco first began serving on the committee during the 2013 session and has worked on legislation concerning elections.

Standing committee appointments are made biennially after each election. Committee hearings, which typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. This site also provides committee calendars and meeting agendas.
