Wesco reappointed as vice chair of House Committee on Public Policy

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 19, 2016) — State Rep. Tim Wesco (R-Osceola) was recently reappointed to serve as vice chair of the House Committee on Public Policy

He was also named to the House Committee on Education and the House Committee on Elections and Apportionment.

“Each legislative session, the House Committee on Public Policy is tasked with reviewing legislation that addresses some of our state’s most critical issues,” Wesco said. “I eagerly await working with and fostering conversations among fellow legislators as we tackle important issues facing families across the state of Indiana.”

Standing committee assignments are made biennially after each election. On Jan. 4, House lawmakers will convene at 1:30 p.m. in the House Chamber for the first day of the 2017 legislative session.
