STATEHOUSE (March 30, 2016) — State Rep. Heath VanNatter (R-Kokomo) congratulates three local farms for their designation as Hoosier Homestead Award recipients for 100 years or more of family farm ownership.
“Indiana’s agriculture industry is a critical part of our economy,” VanNatter said. “Owning a farm for more than a century is a significant milestone and I am proud to honor these families who are truly worthy of this recognition.”
The Hoosier Homestead Award Program recognizes farms that have been owned and maintained by the same family for 100 years or more.
The following list includes the farms that received Hoosier Homestead centennial awards:
