STATEHOUSE (Dec. 15, 2022) – "Indiana is continuing to move in the right direction and our economy is growing. We are on solid fiscal footing, with low debt and strong reserves. As we head into the budget-writing session, it will be important to maintain our commitment to fiscal responsibility while building on our growth. We have opportunities to continue making strategic investments and funding critical services for Hoosiers, from education to mental health programs, while pushing for permanent tax cuts. There is a lot on the table and a lot to consider as we look to build on our state's momentum."
