STATEHOUSE (Feb. 26, 2026) – State Rep. Lorissa Sweet (R-Wabash) recently recognized the Great American Prayer Revival 2026 for their efforts to promote prayer, faith and community across the United States.
The declaration highlights GAP26’s rapid expansion since its founding in 2024 at Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn., and commends its mission to inspire a nationwide spiritual renewal.
Sweet emphasized the significance of the organization’s work and the values it promotes.
“What GAP26 is doing is more important than organizing events, it's reminding people that hope is still alive in this country,” Sweet said. “Their dedication to prayer, service and community reminds us of the power we hold when we come together with purpose and faith.”
The declaration highlights GAP26’s contributions to appreciation for Jesus, the Holy Bible, the Church and the sanctity of family. Sweet issued the commendation with gratitude for the organization’s dedication to bringing people together in a spirit of unity and purpose.
