STATEHOUSE (April 7, 2020) – State Rep. Tim Wesco (R-Osceola) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse during the 2020 legislative session:
Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Wesco on the House floor to witness the legislative process.
“Students get to witness lawmakers debate and vote on bills that affect Hoosiers,” Wesco said. “It is encouraging to meet with young community members who want to learn about the legislative process and I enjoy hearing about what issues are important to them.”
Wesco said students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
