STATEHOUSE (April 8, 2020) – State Rep. Dale DeVon (R-Granger) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse during the 2020 legislative session:

Alicia Katzelis, from Mishawaka, attends Mishawaka High School, and Katelynn Secord, from Granger, attends Penn High School.

Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined DeVon on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

“Katelynn and Alicia traveled to the Statehouse and got to meet lawmakers who are passionate about serving their communities," DeVon said. "It's important for future generations to know how laws are enacted and their effects on our daily lives."

DeVon said students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
