Student pages visit Lehman at the Statehouse during 2020 session

STATEHOUSE (April 8, 2020) – State Rep. Matt Lehman (R-Berne) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse during the 2020 legislative session:

• Gunner Butler, from Decatur, attends Bellmont High School;
• Gabriel Kruchkow, from Berne, attends South Adams High School;
• Jared Mankey, from Decatur, is a homeschooled student; and
• Isabelle Sprunger, from Berne, attends South Adams High School.

Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Lehman on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

"As Indiana's future leaders, these students now have a better understanding of their government and the importance of getting involved in their communities," Lehman said. "It's always exciting to welcome young Hoosiers from our area to the Statehouse, and I hope they enjoyed their day."

Lehman said students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
