STATEHOUSE (May 1, 2019) – State Rep. Bob Heaton (R-Terre Haute) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As House pages, these participants toured the governor’s office, the House and Senate chambers, and the Indiana Supreme Court. They helped staff with daily duties and joined Heaton on the House floor during the legislative session:

“The House Page Program is a great opportunity for young Hoosiers to observe how our state government operates,” Heaton said. “I always enjoy meeting students from our community who spend the day at the Statehouse and see what we do firsthand.”

Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging during the 2020 session can learn more at www.indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram. Participants receive an excused absence from school and groups can request to page together.
