Student pages join Rep. Thompson at the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (March 27, 2018) — State Rep. Jeff Thompson (R-Lizton) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As a House page, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Thompson on the House floor during the legislative session:

• James Beck, from Danville, attends Danville Community Middle School;
• Audrey Bembenek, from Danville, attends Pinnacle Peak Academy;
• Sarah Bembenek, from Danville, attends Pinnacle Peak Academy;
• Taylor Brelage, from Pittsboro, attends Tri-West Middle School;
• Lucas Engels, from Pittsboro, attends Tri-West High School;
• Chad Gilmour, from Danville, attends Danville Community High School;
• Laurissa Gordon, from Brownsburg, is a homeschooled student; and
• Abigail Plummer, from Pittsboro, attends Tri-West Middle School.

Thompson said students aged 13 to 18 should consider participating as a page during the 2019 session.
