Student pages join Rep. Mayfield at the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (April 13, 2018) — State Rep. Peggy Mayfield (R-Martinsville) welcomed student pages to the Statehouse during the 2018 legislative session.

As a House page, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Mayfield on the House floor during the legislative session:

  • Buasiri Chamchoy, an exchange student from Thailand, attends Knightstown High School;
  • Lauren Cox, from Martinsville, attends Mooresville High School;
  • Onur Dogan, an exchange student from Turkey, attends Martinsville High School;
  • Zachary Dyer, from Martinsville, attends Indian Creek High School;
  • Wesley Gaines, from Martinsville, is a homeschooled student;
  • Jasmine Johnson, from Mooresville, attends the Indiana Academy;
  • Madison Peterman, from Mooresville, attends Mooresville High School; and
  • Danielle Silva, an exchange student from Brazil, attends Knightstown High School.

Mayfield said students aged 13 to 18 should consider participating as a page during the 2019 session.
