STATEHOUSE (April, 2018) — State Rep. Ed Clere (R-New Albany) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As a House page, these students toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Clere on the House floor during the legislative session:

  • Robert Aemmer, from New Albany, attends Highland Hills Middle School;
  • Charlie Cook, from Floyds Knobs, attends Highland Hills Middle School;
  • Canaan Ferry, from Georgetown, attends New Life Academy;
  • Reece Ferry, from Georgetown, attends New Life Academy;
  • Carson Price, from New Albany, attends Community Montessori;
  • Jack Price, from New Albany, attends Community Montessori; and
  • Jacob Young, from Floyds Knobs, attends Highland Hills Middle School.

"Pages receive a unique, up-close opportunity to witness the legislature in action," Clere said. "I always welcome the opportunity to meet young people from my district and hear what's on their mind."

Clere said students ages 13 to 18 should consider participating as a page during the 2019 session.
