STATEHOUSE (March 27, 2020) – State Rep. Michael Aylesworth (R-Hebron) recently welcomed a local student to the Statehouse to serve as a page during the 2020 legislative session.
Through the Indiana House Page Program, Lauryn Koedyker, a resident of Kouts and a Kouts High School student, toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Aylesworth on the House floor to witness the legislative process.
“The page program is an opportunity to interact with future leaders from our community and see the legislative process through their perspective,” Aylesworth said. “I strongly encourage any student with an interest in state government to come be a part of this unique learning experience next session.”
Aylesworth said that while this year’s page program has concluded, students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
