STATEHOUSE (Feb. 5, 2025) – State Rep. Michelle Davis (R-Whiteland) was invited to join President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, for the signing of an executive order titled "No Men in Women's Sports."

Davis was invited because of her legislative efforts in Indiana to safeguard women's sports at the secondary and post-secondary levels. She authored House Enrolled Act 1041 during the 2022 legislative session and House Bill 1041 this year.

"It's an honor to join President Trump in protecting the integrity of women's sports," Davis said. "As a former athlete and mother, I know firsthand the dedication and sacrifices female athletes make to compete at the highest levels. I have fought for these protections in Indiana and am grateful for the leadership of President Trump at the federal level to ensure a level playing field for women and girls competing in sports across the country."

The order ensures that biological men cannot compete in female sports in schools and at the collegiate level.
