STATEHOUSE (Nov. 3, 2025) – State Rep. Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville), a member of the bipartisan Indiana Political Organization for Women's Education and Representation Caucus, announced applications are now open for its annual scholarship awarded to Hoosier women.
The POWER Caucus is Indiana's legislative women’s caucus working to improve the quality of life for all women and citizens of the state.
Patterson said this $1,000 scholarship is awarded to Hoosier women age 25 and older who are taking a "non-traditional" path in returning to school to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.
"It can be challenging to return to school later in life and I’m proud that the POWER Caucus recognizes and supports women in furthering their educational journey," Patterson said. "We want to help ensure that cost isn’t a barrier for women pursuing their goals.”
Applications are available online at cognitoforms.com/IndianaPOWER1/IndianaPOWERScholarship. Applicants must be 25 or older and attending or recently accepted to an Indiana college or university. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7.
