STATEHOUSE (Nov. 6, 2025) – State Rep. Karen Engleman (R-Georgetown), a member of the bipartisan Indiana Political Organization for Women's Education and Representation Caucus, announced the deadline is approaching for its annual scholarship awarded to Hoosier women.
The POWER Caucus is Indiana's legislative women’s caucus working to improve the quality of life for all women and citizens of the state.
Engleman said this $1,000 scholarship is awarded to Hoosier women age 25 and older who are taking a "non-traditional" path in returning to school to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.
"The POWER Caucus scholarship is a great resource for women who wish to continue their education," Engleman said. "Going back to school can be tough and this funding is meant to support Hoosier women in that journey."
Applications are available online at cognitoforms.com/IndianaPOWER1/IndianaPOWERScholarship. Applicants must be 25 or older and attending or recently accepted to an Indiana college or university. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7.
