STATEHOUSE (Nov. 6, 2025) – State Rep. Julie Olthoff (R-Crown Point), a member of the bipartisan Indiana Political Organization for Women's Education and Representation Caucus, announced the deadline is approaching for its annual scholarship awarded to Hoosier women.
The POWER Caucus is Indiana's legislative women’s caucus working to improve the quality of life for all women and citizens of the state.
Olthoff said this $1,000 scholarship is awarded to Hoosier women age 25 and older who are taking a "non-traditional" path in returning to school to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.
"Not everyone has the means to earn a degree and explore career paths," Olthoff said. "This scholarship gives women the opportunity to go back to school, kickstart new careers and pursue additional education."
Applications are available online at cognitoforms.com/IndianaPOWER1/IndianaPOWERScholarship. Applicants must be 25 or older and attending or recently accepted to an Indiana college or university. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7.
