STATEHOUSE (July 9, 2024) – State Rep. Dave Hall (R-Norman) recently received an appointment to serve as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications.
Interim committees meet throughout the summer and fall to explore and review policy issues and work together to identify solutions. Legislators will hear testimony from the public, various experts and stakeholders as they work on bill recommendations ahead of the budget session in January.
"Reviewing the state's efforts to ensure widespread and adequate broadband service and a reliable energy grid are important priorities," Hall said. "Our work will help lawmakers craft more targeted legislation for next year's session."
