STATEHOUSE (Nov. 3, 2025) – State Rep. Elizabeth Rowray (R-Yorktown), a member of the bipartisan Indiana Political Organization for Women's Education and Representation Caucus, announced applications are now open for its annual scholarship awarded to Hoosier women.
The POWER Caucus is Indiana's legislative women’s caucus working to improve the quality of life for all women and citizens of the state.
Rowray said this $1,000 scholarship is awarded to Hoosier women age 25 and older who are taking a "non-traditional" path in returning to school to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.
"This scholarship is about honoring that determination and helping remove barriers that may stand in the way," Rowray said. "I hope more women see this as their opportunity to take that next step and invest in their future."
Applications are available online at cognitoforms.com/IndianaPOWER1/IndianaPOWERScholarship. Applicants must be 25 or older and attending or recently accepted to an Indiana college or university. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7.
