STATEHOUSE (Sept. 6, 2022) — The state recently honored Andy's Car Wash in Columbia City with the Governor's Half-Century Business Award for its longstanding service in Whitley County, according to State Rep. Chris Judy (R-Fort Wayne).
"The customer care and attention to detail at Andy's sets them apart," Judy said. "A great product and staff go a long way in a business's success, and they have that. It's easy to see why they've been around for so long."
According to Judy, Andy's has been in business for 51 years. More than 40 companies and organizations were recently recognized during a ceremony in Indianapolis for remaining in continuous operation in Indiana for at least 50 or 100 years, and demonstrating a commitment to serving the community.
More than 1,200 Hoosier businesses have been recognized during the award's 31-year history.
