STATEHOUSE (June 27, 2019) – State Rep. Ed Soliday (R-Valparaiso) will serve on six study committees, which examine the state’s top issues and recommend potential legislation.
Soliday will serve as vice chair of the Interim Study Committee on Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications, and as co-chair of both the 21st Century Energy Policy Development Task Force and the Storm Water Infrastructure Task Force. He will also serve as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation, the Governor’s Security Council, and the Public Highway Private Enterprise Review Board.
“These study committees will cover a wide range of important topics this summer, from water infrastructure funding to the state’s current electric generation policies,” Soliday said. “I look forward to the months of productive discussion that lie ahead.”
Soliday said the interim study committee hearings, which typically occur at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live online at iga.in.gov. This site also provides committee calendars and meeting agendas. Members of the public are welcomed to attend and testify.
