Note to the Press: Please include the following statements from State Reps. Craig Snow (R-Warsaw) and David Abbott (R-Rome City) in your coverage of the State Budget Committee formally approving $2 million in state funding on Tuesday for the Warsaw Municipal Airport to replace a nearly 50-year-old taxilane that serves large aircraft. During the 2023 legislative session, Snow and Abbott voted in support of the funding as part of the new state budget.

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 19, 2023) –
"We're fortunate to have an airport in Kosciusko County, providing a valuable asset to local businesses and residents. This state funding will go a long way toward making sure the airport can continue to host large aircraft and remain an economic driver in our community for years to come," said State Rep. Craig Snow (R-Warsaw).

"Easy access to a local, well-ran airport opens up opportunities for Warsaw. With these additional state funds, we can make sure renovations can move ahead and the Warsaw Municipal Airport is better equipped to handle larger aircraft," said State Rep. David Abbott (R-Rome City).
