STATEHOUSE (July 6, 2018) — “I’m truly overwhelmed today with a sense of awe. Throughout this team’s journey, they’ve seized each opportunity and been rewarded with success every step of the way. Their efforts have inspired and strengthened our community.

“Basketball is part of our state’s sports heritage, and it’s fitting an Indiana team won the gold medal. This group has overcome obstacles, shown resiliency and excelled at the highest level of competition. The experience will serve them well moving forward.”
