STATEHOUSE (Dec. 20, 2024) – With the next legislative session quickly approaching, State Reps. J.D. Prescott (R-Union City) and Elizabeth Rowray (R-Yorktown) encourage Hoosiers to take their online surveys and offer feedback on important issues.
To start, Hoosiers should visit their state representative's webpage and click on the "Take My Survey" button.
Residents of House District 33 can find Prescott's legislative survey at in.gov/h33 and residents of House District 35 can find Rowray's at in.gov/h35.
"With the 2025 legislative session approaching, Hoosiers deserve legislators who will listen and respond to their concerns," Prescott said. "This survey is a great tool for residents to share their opinions as we prepare for session."
To complete online surveys, Hoosiers must be a resident of the district and submit it by the Dec. 31 deadline. Constituents can check which House district they reside in by visiting the Indiana General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov, clicking on "Find Your Legislator" on the homepage and entering a home address. Constituents can also expect to receive or may have already received a copy of their state representative's survey mailer in their mailbox.
"I’m eager to hear from constituents and their input on important issues this year,” Rowray said. “This survey is a simple way for everyone to be involved in the decisions that affect our community. By participating, you’ll ensure we are addressing the right challenges ahead."
The 2025 legislative session begins Jan. 8 and must conclude by April 29. Hoosiers can follow session proceedings at iga.in.gov, where they can find information on proposed legislation and watch livestreams of committee hearings and session.
Hoosiers also can stay updated during the legislative session by signing up for their legislator's email newsletter at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com and entering their email address under "Subscribe to eNews," or by calling 317-232-9600.
