DUBOIS COUNTY (Oct. 25, 2021) – State Reps. Stephen Bartels (R-Eckerty) and Shane Lindauer (R-Jasper) recently hosted a listening tour in Dubois County where they met and heard from constituents, local employers and law enforcement officers.

Bartels and Lindauer, who both represent portions of Dubois County, visited the Jasper City Mill, a historic tourist attraction, and Universal Technologies, a factory which manufactures custom glass, metal, plastics, and LED lighting applications, primarily for the furniture industry.

"Shane and I work closely together on a lot of important issues impacting Dubois County," Bartels said. "Our collaborative efforts often focus on local job growth, cutting burdensome regulations and keeping our communities safe."

Their tour also included a stop at the Dubois County Security Center, which houses the Dubois County Sheriff's Office and the county jail.

"Traveling throughout the county ensures I have my finger on the pulse of our communities," Lindauer said. "Meeting with local business owners, law enforcement officers and constituents is important. Their input is vital to the legislative process, and helps guide me as I work and vote on new laws."

Bartels represents House District 74, which includes portions of Spencer, Dubois, Perry, Crawford and Orange counties. Constituents can contact him by calling 1-800-382-9841 or emailing h74@iga.in.gov.
