STATEHOUSE- “I sponsored Senate Bill 101 because I believe that the same standard of judicial review that exists at the federal level and in 30 other states including Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky should also be applied in Indiana. This bill does not allow for discrimination; in fact, I believe that it protects the rights of everyone, regardless of their religious affiliation or lack thereof.

“I am pleased with the passage of Senate Bill 101, and believe it reaffirms our state’s constitutional commitment to the free religious exercise of all of its citizens.”
