STATEHOUSE (March 7, 2019) – State Rep. Heath VanNatter (R-Kokomo) received the National Federation of Independent Business’ Guardian of Small Business Award today during a presentation ceremony at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.
“Thousands of hardworking Hoosier entrepreneurs help drive Indiana’s economy,” said VanNatter, who serves as chair of the House Employment, Labor and Pensions Committee. “Promoting legislation that supports job creators, small business growth and economic development will continue to be my top priority.”
The Guardian of Small Business Award is the National Federation of Independent Business’ highest honor, and it is reserved for lawmakers who demonstrate exceptional leadership and consistency in supporting the small business agenda.
The National Federation of Independent Business was founded in 1943, with a mission to promote and protect the right of its members to own, operate and grow their businesses.
