Rep. Sullivan votes to support the Southwest Indiana Regional Medical School
NOTE TO THE EDITOR: Please include the following statement from State Rep. Holli Sullivan (R-Evansville) in your coverage of the passage of House Bill 1001, Indiana’s biennial budget, which includes funding for the Southwest Indiana Regional Medical School.
STATEHOUSE - “I was proud to craft and help pass our state’s biennial budget, which provides $25.2 million for the Southwest Indiana Regional Medical School in Evansville. Throughout session, I worked diligently and advocated for this funding to be included in the budget, knowing it could grow our economy, increase residency opportunities for Hoosier medical students and support physician retention.
“It has been an honor to be a voice for southwest Indiana, representing House District 78, and I was proud to support this project, which will improve the quality of life for countless Hoosiers in our area.”
