PHOTO CAPTION: State Rep. Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville) (right) recently toured NOVA Chemicals' first polyethylene film recycling facility, SYNDIGO 1, located in Connersville. The 450,000-square-foot facility is one of the largest and most advanced plastic film mechanical recycling facilities in the world. It will recycle 145,000 bales of end-of-life plastic film to produce more than 100 million pounds of SYNDIGO™ recycled resin, suitable for both food- and non-food-grade packaging applications. Full production is expected by early 2026. Click here to learn more. Rep. Patterson was joined on the tour by her husband Brian Patterson (left).
