Rep. Morris shows his support for Small Businesses
STATEHOUSE — State Rep. Bob Morris (R-Fort Wayne) and fellow House Republicans met with local small business leaders during the Fort Wayne stop of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) “I Built My Business” bus tour. “As a small business owner, I know firsthand the hardships that businesses face when they are built from the ground up, but also the shared reward of bringing jobs to our community,” said Rep. Morris. “Small businesses energize our economy, and I am excited to recognize their contributions and accomplishments.” The bus tour will visit seven states in an effort to provide a megaphone for the voices of the men and women of Main Street and further amplify the critical role the small-business community plays in our economy. “I am focused on bringing high quality jobs to Indiana by creating an economic environment conducive to private sector job growth. Indiana will continue to lead the nation’s recovery, and the focus will be on giving Hoosiers the tools to build their America Dream just as these small business owners built theirs,” said Rep. Morris. For more information on the “I Built My Business” bus tour, visit www.nfib.com/ibuiltit. -30-
