Rep. Morris comments on the death of Bishop Emeritus John D’Arcy Please include the following statement from State Rep. Bob Morris (R-Fort Wayne) in regards to media coverage of the death of Honorable Bishop Emeritus John D’Arcy. STATEHOUSE - “I am saddened by the death of Bishop John D’Arcy, but it is a relief to know that he no longer suffers from his ailment. One of the highlights of my life was being led by Bishop D’Arcy out to Denver Colorado in 1993 for World Youth Day where his leadership and guidance forever inspired me to be a better man and to proudly represent my faith. His work in our community and throughout the world was the work of a man devoted to helping people. We will always remember him as a great man defined by his compassion and humbleness who strived to make the world a better place.” |
