Rep. Morris attends Right to Life Rally

STATEHOUSE - State Rep. Bob Morris (R-Ft. Wayne) attended this Saturday's Right to Life Rally in Ft Wayne. This was the 37th Annual Rally and March for Life. The rally was held at the Scottish Rite Memorial at noon and the key note address was given by Father John Raphael, who is the principal of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans.

"I feel very passionate about protecting the sanctity of life and will continue to bring attention to this cause whenever possible," said Rep. Morris. "This legislative session, it is a priority of mine to advance the pro-life agenda.  There are many bills on the table that address the issue of Right to Life, and I look forward to voting on this legislation."

After the Rally, March for Life advocates continued through downtown Ft. Wayne and ended at the Federal Building. At the Federal Building, supporters gathered to speak about the emotional and physical consequences they suffered due to their abortion decisions.

"The Right to Life issues has always been very close to my heart," said Rep. Morris.  "As a father of five, with number six on the way, I value the life of each and every child beginning at conception."
