Rep. Mayfield welcomes student pages to the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (April 21, 2017) — State Rep. Peggy Mayfield (R-Martinsville) recently welcomed student pages to the Statehouse.

As a House page, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Mayfield on the House floor during the legislative session:

  • Garrett Bruce, from Bloomington, attends Bloomington High School North;
  • Sundra Kunze, from Martinsville, attends Martinsville High School;
  • Ava McClanahan, from Martinsville, attends Indian Creek Middle School;
  • Hunter Meredith, from Morgantown, attends Indian Creek High School;
  • Micaiah O’Malley, from Martinsville, is a home-schooled student;
  • Allie Pace, from Martinsville, attends Martinsville High School;
  • Elijah Roberson, from Martinsville, attends John R. Wooden Middle School;
  • Matt Thomas, from Martinsville, attends Martinsville High School; and
  • Ethan Wright, from Bloomington, attends Tabernacle Christian School.

Mayfield encourages students aged 13 to 18 to consider participating next session.
