House Republicans worked hard this session to pass legislation that would bring jobs to Indiana, and it looks like our hard work is paying off - quite close to home.
Toyota Material Handling U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) has announced its plans to relocate its North American headquarters from Irvine, Calif. to Columbus, Ind. The Irvine location currently employs 72 people, and 53 are employed by its offices here in Bartholomew County. The transition is set to begin this fall and will take a few years to complete.
Their choice to move and grow in Indiana is testament to our state’s pro-business attitudes and policies. I am pleased that more Hoosiers will be finding work in our great community.
