Rep. Karickhoff opposes the removal of the Common Construction Wage
EDITOR’S NOTE: Please include the following statement from State Representative Mike Karickhoff (R-Kokomo) in response to your coverage of the Common Construction Wage.
STATEHOUSE – “As someone who has lived, worked and raised a family in our community, it is my belief that we have benefitted from our current public construction practices. Additionally, the feedback received from local businesses and skilled workers has reinforced this perspective. House Bill 1019 did not reflect the interests of our community and therefore did not receive our district’s vote.”
