STATEHOUSE (March 28, 2025) – Allen County resident Logan Knudsen is gaining experience as an intern with State Rep. Chris Judy (R-Fort Wayne) and his fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2025 legislative session.
Knudsen is the son of Darla and Steve Knudsen. He is currently a senior at Ball State University and majoring in political science with a minor in economics.
"It has been an absolute honor and privilege learning about the legislative process alongside great company," Knudsen said. "Additionally, helping constituents directly and the representatives who serve them has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had and has improved my professional and correspondence skills greatly."
As a legislative intern, Knudsen corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails while also staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.
"Logan has been a great addition to the legislative team and is gaining skills that will help him prepare for today's competitive workforce," Judy said. "He is working hard helping constituents and lawmakers while navigating a fast-paced environment. This internship is a rewarding experience for any student looking to launch a career into public service or the private sector."
At the start of each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of the annual legislative session.
