STATEHOUSE (March 12, 2026) – Hancock County native Isabella Reske is gaining experience as an intern with State Rep. Chris Jeter (R-Fishers) and his fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2026 legislative session.
Reske, a Mt. Vernon High School graduate, is the daughter of Karina and Brian Reske. She is currently a senior at Butler University and majoring in international studies and political science and minoring in religious studies.
"My internship at the Statehouse strengthened my understanding of legislative work and the responsibilities that come with public service," Reske said. "I'm grateful for the experience and relationships I have gained while working here."
As a legislative intern, Reske corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails while also staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.
"Isabella is developing essential skills and making important connections that can help launch her into a great career," Jeter said. "My colleagues and I valued all the hard work and dedication interns brought to the Statehouse this session."
Each year, the Indiana House offers paid, full-time, spring semester internship opportunities to college students, recent graduates and students in graduate and law school during the legislative session.
