STATEHOUSE (April 1, 2025) – McCordsville native Julia Sant'Anna is gaining experience with State Rep. Chris Jeter (R-Fishers) and his fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2025 legislative session.
Sant'Anna, a Southport High School graduate, is the daughter of Faye and Glenn Sant'Anna. She is a recent graduate of Indiana University Bloomington where she majored in international studies and minored in Portuguese and Russian.
"This internship has been a great opportunity to witness the legislative process and has fueled my desire to continue pursuing a career in government," Sant'Anna said.
As a legislative intern, Sant'Anna corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails while also staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.
"Julia is doing meaningful work this session as a legislative intern," Jeter said. "Our interns provide important support to both members and constituents through session and help us achieve results for Hoosiers."
At the start of each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of the annual legislative session.
