STATEHOUSE (Feb. 26, 2018) — Hamilton County residents are gaining experience as interns with State Rep. Todd Huston (R-Fishers) and his fellow members of the House of Representatives during the 2018 legislative session.

Matt Jaworowski, a graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, is the son of Steve and Suzanne Jaworowski. He is a Purdue University student earning his bachelor’s degree in political science.

Gabe Donnelly, a graduate of Fishers High School, is the son of Kevin and Amber Donnelly. He is an Indiana University student who is earning his bachelor’s degree in political science.

As legislative interns, Jaworowski and Donnelly correspond with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails while also staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.

“Our interns provide me and my colleagues with invaluable support during session,” Huston said. “Gabe and Matt are honing vital skills that will help them with their career and plans beyond college.”

Each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of each legislative session.
