EDITOR’S NOTE—State Rep. Todd Huston (R-Fishers) issued the following statement regarding the 2015 House Republican Legislative Agenda announcement.
STATEHOUSE—“The 2015 House Republican Legislative Agenda focuses on four major areas to strengthen Indiana – the biennial budget, education, ethics and public safety. With my experience as a member of the Ways & Means committee, I am confident House Republicans will continue to create a fair and balanced budget with no tax increases.
“I am pleased that House Republicans are committed to fixing the school funding formula as this issue has a tremendous impact on Fishers. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that high performing districts like Hamilton Southeastern Schools are properly funded.
“Indiana has one of the most job and tax friendly environments in the country. It is important we are held accountable to Hoosier taxpayers as we continue to enact legislation which is conducive to job growth and economic development in our state.”
