STATEHOUSE (Feb. 15, 2016) — State Rep. Dick Hamm (R-Richmond) recently welcomed members and advocates from Achieva Resources Corp. to the Statehouse.

Hamm said Achieva Resources advocates for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wayne, Fayette and Union counties. They provide guardianship services to individuals who are not able to make medical or advocacy decisions for themselves.

“This is a great organization that does wonderful work by empowering Hoosiers with disabilities,” Hamm said. “A main focus of Achieva is inclusion. By taking this trip to the Statehouse, Achieva helped its members become involved in state government. We were able to visit with one another, tour the Statehouse and discuss the legislative process.”

Achieva Resources has assisted more than 30 individuals that were in need of medical, advocacy, health, safety services and guardianships.
