STATEHOUSE (Dec. 13, 2024) – State Rep. Dave Hall (R-Norman) recently received appointments to serve as a member of three key House committees.

Hall will serve as vice chair of the House Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications Committee. He will also serve as a member of the House Local Government Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee.

"Indiana's energy future is critical to our state's success," Hall said. "As vice chair of the Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications Committee, I'm eager to work with my colleagues to continue to advance innovative solutions for our utility and energy needs."

House standing committee appointments are made by the Indiana House Speaker biennially after the November election and are in effect for the duration of members' two-year terms.

House lawmakers are scheduled to convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session. Hoosiers can visit iga.in.gov to find legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings and session.

Hall encourages constituents to visit in.gov/h62 to sign up to receive e-newsletter updates about what’s happening at the Statehouse throughout the legislative session and beyond.
