Rep. Goss-Reaves to vice chair key House committee

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 17, 2024) – State Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves (R-Marion) was recently appointed as the vice chair of the House Insurance Committee. She will also serve as a member of the House Public Health Committee and the House Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee.

"Access to affordable and reliable insurance is critical for Indiana families and businesses," Goss-Reaves said. "As vice chair, I’ll work to ensure our policies promote a competitive market while protecting consumers."


House standing committee appointments are made by the Indiana House Speaker biennially after the November election and are in effect for the duration of members' two-year terms.

House lawmakers are scheduled to convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session. Hoosiers can visit iga.in.gov to find legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings and session.
