STATEHOUSE (March 13, 2026) – Grant County native Trinity Jackson is gaining experience as an intern with State Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves (R-Marion) and her fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2026 legislative session.
Jackson, an Eastbrook High School graduate, is the daughter of Dianna and Blain Jackson. She recently graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University and majored in pre-law and political science and minored in honors humanities.
"This internship has opened many doors for my future," Jackson said. "I’ve gained valuable experience and developed skills that will benefit me as I pursue a career in law and public service."
As a legislative intern, Jackson corresponds with constituents through phone calls, letters and emails while also staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.
"Internships like this give students a firsthand look at how the legislative process works," Goss-Reaves said. "Trinity has embraced every opportunity to learn and contribute during this session."
Each year, the Indiana House offers paid, full-time, spring semester internship opportunities to college students, recent graduates and students in graduate and law school during the legislative session.
