Rep. Frye welcomes student pages to the Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 9, 2016) — State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) recently welcomed the following student pages to the Statehouse:

• Baker Howard, from Greensburg, attends South Decatur High School;
• Brogan Howard, from Greensburg, attends South Decatur Junior High School;
• Laura Barnhorst, from Sunman, attends Sunman-Dearborn Middle School;
• Maxwell Bowne, from Rising Sun, attends Ohio County Elementary-Middle School;
• T.J. Manifold, from Rising Sun, attends Ohio County Elementary-Middle School;
• Claire Soendlin, from Greensburg, is a home-schooled student; and
• Drew Soendlin, from Greensburg, is a home-schooled student.

As a House page, these participants toured government offices, helped staff with daily duties and joined Frye on the House floor as he conducted the people’s business.

Frye said although openings for this year’s page program have been filled, students aged 13-18 should consider participating next session.
